Om Shanti Om - A Tribute to Indian cinema

If you are a true film buff, then Om shanti Om is a film just for you, a true masala film, a true Indian film, a true entertainer.

The film shows the passion towards the films and film industry of masses and above all the people who are associated with it.

OSO is inspired by Karz, and in 2007 they have successfully made a film of a retro genre and it entertains well.

The film is good spoof on the older hero's and and the melodramatic situations, things like the filmi maa and filmi dialogues, unsuccessful actors frustration, mannerisms of heros like rajesh Khanna, Manoj Kumar, Dev anand etc......

Few small bits in the first half are quite entertaining like the Govinda meeting SRK and shrayas, and Sooraj Barjataya writing the dialogues etc

Farah Khan has worked a lot on creating the retro period, costumes, hair style, constructions, cars etc, have been deeply worked upon and it pays off well.

First part of the film is more dramatic and well acted then the second half, in second half sharukh khan has done some over acting, but that is covered by the special appearances of the battalion of actors.......... specially Abhishek Bachchan and Akshay Kumar were good comeo......

Once Neha Dhupia has said in her interview "Sharukh and Sex sells" but this time it is "Sexy sharukh who sells", at 42 shaping up the body is a task, and he is actually looking good.

Farah khan, has created her signature directorial style, like Mai hun na, this film had nothing more than Entertainment to offer.... pure fun filled entertainment........... and the titles in the end were another of her style, where in she brought all teh back stage people in front of the camera.

Finally like all the reviews i wanna end by saying that.... OSO deseves *** (three stars) and a Thums up for Farah Khans effort.

If I could give you only one tip for the future, USING CONDOM would be it.

The long term benefits of condom have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.

The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Sunday.Do one thing everyday that scares you.....Don't be reckless with other peoples hearts, don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.

Maybe you'll marry, maybe you wont, maybe you'll have children, maybe you wont, and if you have children, make sure that just for your pleasure you should not produce a whole battalion...... PLEASE USE CONDOM.

Enjoy your body, use it every way you can...don't be afraid of it, or what other people think of it, its the greatest instrument youll ever own, SO YOU BETTER TAKE CARE OF IT...... DON'T MISUSE IT AND OVERUSE IT.... DON'T EVEN UNDER USE IT OR YOU WOULD BE FRUSTRATED....

I am parting thins advice not only for your good but also for my good..... look at the population today..... fucking people breeding like ants and rodents...... and thts just coz of the rabbit nature which humans are developing.....

It has seen in the past that most of the things done for pleasure has led to a devastation... like Tigers are about to extinct..... DODO bird dose not exist anymore.... many of such examples are there............. and it is coz the people of that time killed these animals to prove their bravery........

Our resources are depleting...... scarcity of water and food is a major issue and now it is tern of air..... yeah air is polluting.....

if you don't believe me whatever i am saying......... then try and catch a local bus in the prime time of any city or village of our country.....in a 40 seater 80-100 people travel...... it becomes a human poultry farm where in all are trying to get a foot full of space.......

No water no electricity no employment...... than WHATS THE FUN OF FUCKING AROUND AND PRODUCE BABES......

I am not against children, they are a must for any human's life..... but PLEASE USE A CONDOM AND DON'T PRODUCE UNWANTED CHILD....

It is amusing to see queues everywhere, restaurants, pubs, bus shelters, toilets and even ATM......... no privacy is left for any person.......

Respect all.... give the kind of respect you expect from others, take care of your love and love life..... but if you cant make your mind.... USE CONDOM!!!!!!!!!!
